Ronald McDonald House of New York, Inc. provides a temporary “home-away-from-home” for pediatric cancer patients and their families. The House is a supportive and caring environment which encourages and nurtures the development of child-to-child and parent-to-parent support systems. Ronald McDonald House of New York, Inc. is the largest facility of its type in the world. This year Ronald McDonald House of New York has partnered with the New York Road Runners and the ING New York City Marathon for our House's first official race event. The funds raised through this endeavor are crucial in keeping our facilities open and affordable to the families who stay here. Each dollar raised by our runners will be used to offset the $270 per night per family it costs to run the facility.
