The Greek Division of the Ronald McDonald House was formed under the leadership of Mrs. Niki Sideris to help us with our enormous endeavors.

Niki Sideris is a woman whose enthusiasm and persuasive skills probably could have induced the Athenians and the Spartans to sit down and negotiate.  A native of Greece, Mrs. Sideris emigrated to the United States 38 years ago. For 17 years, Mrs. Sideris worked as a hospital volunteer in Manhattan.  It was though this involvement that she came to Ronald McDonald House almost 23 years ago.  When the plans for the new House were being developed, she conceived of the idea to create the Greek Division. A Division that would give assistance to all Greek Families who come from overseas and not only, to find a fellow Greek waiting for them upon their arrival to a strange place without knowing of what to be expected. Niki Sideris has been there untiring to offer her help and self to over 10,000 Greek families throughout the years.

Ronald McDonald House is happy to have Mrs. Niki Sideris and the Greek Division for so many years on its team to serve and support these families and the Institution itself.   The House has always maintained a commitment that no family will be turned away for lack of financial resources.  It is therefore, imperative that the House enlist the participation of friends and supporters to defray these costs and to support its educational, recreational and cultural programs.
