| Support Services offers a variety of approaches to meet the emotional needs of families.
New Guest Orientation: Designed for new guests and their family members to help orient them to the neighborhood, house policies and procedures and familiarize with other services provided, held Tuesday at 6:15 PM in the conference room. Please sign-up at the front desk.
Individual Support: Available for each family member, (patient, parent, sibling, relative or guardian). Please call Mark Roberts at (212) 639-0100 to schedule an appointment or inquire at the front desk.
Family Support: Family Support sessions include two or more members of a family where the family unit can resolve conflict and solve problems together. Please call Mark Roberts at (212) 637-0100 to schedule an appointment or inquire at the front desk.
Caregiver Support Group: Families can share their experiences and emotional concerns in a professionally staffed and supportive environment. Support group meets each Monday at 6:15 pm in the Chapel.
Stress Management: In conjunction with the support group can provide a workable antidote to stress. The class teaches mindfulness techniques as well as guided meditation.
Bereavement Care: Available to families who are experiencing feelings of grief and loss. Please call (212) 639-0195 or inquire at the reception desk for more information.
